KND6 PRESENTS: A SONIC THE HEDGEHOG ONESHOT
TAILS AND FIONA, LOVE FROM X YEARS LATER

The No Zone Prison…a place where the vilest and foulest beings of the multiverse are locked up. But not all of them are like that. One in particular draws out attention. She was inside her cell, just staring at the four walls with a sad look on her face. She has been doing that for the past few years, though she had lost track of time. “Okay, missy! Time for your meeting.” a Zone cop said as he opened her cell door and took her somewhere else.

She was called to an office, where a Mobian looking squirrel/chipmunk woman was waiting for her. “Ah, Ms. Fox. I’m glad I can speak you. Sit down.” She said as she gestured her guest to sit down. The prisoner sighed and did as told. She looked at the nameplate on the desk: ‘Zally Zacorn’. “Ms. Fiona Lavender Fox…you know why you’re here?” Zally asked her. “Nope.” Fiona said, sounding uninterested. “You’ve done your time, you’re free to go.” Zally explained. “Really? That much time has already passed? I wouldn’t know.” Fiona answered.

“I know you’ve been sad ever since Scou…” Zally began, but Fiona interrupted her: “Don’t say that name.” “Okay, ever since HE abandoned you and broke your heart. I guess that’s why you kept behaving all this time. It allowed you to cut down your time here. But now you can go.” Zally said. “Where to?” Fiona asked. “The Prime Zone of course.” Zally answered. “I can’t go back there. Not after I betrayed everyone.” Fiona said. “Your problem was you didn’t trust the right people, even when it was obvious whom you should trust. You just don’t make that mistake again and you’ll do fine.” Zally said.

“Can’t you send me to another zone to start anew?” Fiona asked. “We can only do that to those who lost their home Zone. But don’t worry, everything’s arranged with the Prime zone, you’ll get a place to stay, a job and all that. There’s no need to worry.” Zally said. “You do realize what I’ve done?” Fiona asked. “I know, but it’s obvious you’ve paid for your crimes enough. That’s why this new chance is given. We don’t hold people to punish them, but to rehabilitate them. Besides, maybe it’s the time for you to tell them how sorry you are.” Zally pointed out. Fiona sighed. “I guess it’s better than being stuck here…”

Three months after being released from the No Zone, every day in Fiona’s life would have been the same: she’d wake up, go to work at the local fastfood restaurant and return in the evening to her apartment to be alone in front of the tv. She hadn’t contacted anyone familiar, especially not the Freedom fighters, thinking they wouldn’t need her as they all had their perfect lives. Like Sonic, he was King of the planet, and he had married his childhood sweetheart Sally, and had two kids.

Antoine and Bunnie were married with two kids as well, Rotor had settled down with a girl she didn’t know and had a son, Amy had moved on from Sonic and found a guy to be with and they had three kids…though Fiona didn’t know how that one particular person was doing. The one she least of all wanted to see. Not because she hated him, but because she brought him the most pain of all. He was devoted to her and she broke his heart, so she could never face him again.

Fiona looked in the mirror and looked at herself. While the years in prison hadn’t been kind to her, she still was Fiona with the red fur, and brown hair, and blue eyes. Though her hair had grey streaks in them and looked messy and dull, she had bags under her eyes. She looked at herself in the mirror, and she looked out of shape, as she looked a bit chubby. She hadn’t exercised in prison. “What a mess I’ve become, and I’m only myself to blame.”

She had fallen in love with the green hedgehog of whom she thought he understood her, but only she was another toy for him to play it, only to discard it once she was played with long enough, abandoned and left at the mercy of the Zone cops, while he saved his own behind. She didn’t know what happened to him, but she didn’t care, as long as she was away from him. Fiona got dressed and went  out for a walk, even though it was very late at night.

But what would she care? Her life here now wasn’t much better. Day in day out the same routine, and she was alone. Her colleagues just tolerated her existence and for the customers she was another bimbo who just needed to give them their food. Not many people knew whom she was, though they vaguely recognized her from somewhere not being able to put their finger on it, but couldn’t and just shot her dirty looks. Yep, she was alone, and being in prison or here, it didn’t matter, for her the whole world was her prison.

Fiona wouldn’t care if she’d die now, and she would be getting close to it, as she walked up to the middle of the street, so much lost in thought she didn’t see the truck coming at her…the lights got brighter as she got closer. When she did notice them however, she didn’t feel scared, she welcomed it… “End my suffering…” she whispered. She heard a big honking sound, but then found herself lifted up from the street and putting back safely on the sidewalk. “What were you thinking just standing there?” a voice said behind her. “I didn’t want your help!” Fiona said as she turned around to see her savior, only to be shocked beyond belief.

“Tails?” she asked. It was Tails all right, that kid that was in love with her long ago, that two tailed fox that could fly and invent stuff even Eggman couldn’t, and the brother figure to Sonic. He had grown really tall, towering about a feet above her. He now wore brown boots and gloves, a red scarf, aviator goggles and a belt with various tools. He also has grown an extra bang, and…he looked handsome. Why of all times did she had to look this bad? “Fiona?” he asked her. Fiona was suddenly overwhelmed with emotion as she fainted in his arms.

Fiona found herself regaining her consciousness, finding herself lying in a sofa, covered in a blanket. She rubbed her eyes and looked around. She found herself in a very stylish looking living room. Then Tails entered the room. She felt scared and embarrassed for what Tails was going to say, only to be surprised when he gave her a kind smile and offered her a cup of tea: “Drink this, it’ll make you feel better.” Fiona didn’t know what to say and just took the tea and drank it. She didn’t know why but she did feel better after drinking some of the tea, and decided to let out a soft: “Thanks.”

Tails sat down next to her on the coach. He didn’t speak. Though the look he gave her was awkward, Fiona was surprised to see no trace of hatred or anger in his eyes. “It’s been a long time…” he said. Fiona couldn’t speak at first. What was she supposed to tell him? “Dad, where is my sweater?” a voice came from the kitchen. The voice sounded a lot like Tails when he was young. “It’s here in the living room.” Tails said back. Then a young boy came in the room. He looked a lot at Tails at that age, only his fur was yellow, the fur on his cheeks was less bushy,  his hair looks neatly combed and he wore blue boots. But for the rest, he looked a lot like Tails, even having his father’s namesakes: two bushy tails.

The young kitsune picked up the blue sweater from a chair in the living room, as he noticed Fiona. “You’re the lady who dad saved today. I’m glad you’re okay.” He said kindly. “Fiona, this is my son Skye. Skye, this is Fiona. She’s…and old friend of mine.” Tails introduced them. “Hi miss Fiona! Make yourself at home. Dad’s friends are my friends!” Skye said kindly as he left the room. “He’s exactly like you. I can tell.” Fiona said, smiling a bit, feeling charmed by the little boy. “I also have a daughter named Melody, but she’s on a date with her boyfriend.” Tails explained. “Skye and Melody…beautiful names.” Fiona stated. “I know.” Tails said.

“You never told them about me?” Fiona asked. Tails shook his head. “I understand…talking about me would bring back bad memories.” Fiona said. “No. I never talked about you, because I didn’t want them to think bad about you. If I only would tell the good times, they’d asked what has happened to you, and I couldn’t lie to them. But I didn’t want to drag your name down the mud.” Tails explained. “I already did that myself. And ten years in the No Zone Jail has proven that.” Fiona answered.

“What happened Fiona? What happened to you?” Tails asked. “I was just another bimbo who was charmed by that suave womanizer who talked pretty, thinking he understood me, only to get dumped when he’s done playing. That’s the price I paid. I had it all: a home, friends and people who were willing to take me in, and I tossed it away for one man.” She explained. “If it makes you feel better, Scourge’s dead.” He said. Fiona was surprised to hear that. She felt disgusted and relieved at the same time. “How…” she asked. “He came back to cause some ruckus in the Prime Zone, we traced him to the East. We fought at a weapons arsenal. He rushed at me at one point, I defended myself by kicking him off me. He then fell and was impaled on a spear that was placed wrong…” Tails said as he started to look a bit sad. “I didn’t mean to…he was rotten, but I didn’t want to kill him. I can’t kill just cause I can, that’s Eggman’s job.”

“You didn’t mean to. Besides, he sought it himself, his demise would be his own fault in the end.” Fiona assured him. “Fiona…did you ever regret slapping me?” he then asked bluntly. Fiona was surprised at the directness, but then honestly answered: “When Scourge dropped me like a brick, and I was hauled away, the first thing that came to my mind was how harsh I’ve been to you. Yes, I regretted it, I regretted it every day of my life when I was behind bars. And I just stayed there, never making an attempt to escape even when offered the chance, because I knew I deserved it.” Fiona explained.

She turned away as she then added: “And I probably deserved to get hit by that truck as well, you shouldn’t have saved me, I’m not worth it.” “Fiona, you’re totally worth saving.” Tails said. “Thanks for trying to cheer me up…you’re still as kind as I remember. Don’t know why I deserve it. I ought to leave, and let you live your wonderful life, while I go back to my miserable one. You have kids and a wife…where is she?” Fiona said. At the last statement, Tails hung down his head, and he looked really sad. “She’s dead.” Tails said. “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t know.” Fiona apologized. “How could you know?” Tails replied.

“Who…how?” Fiona asked. “Mina Mongoose.” Tails answered. “The singing mongoose girl? How did that happen? I didn’t remember you two being close.” Fiona stated. “We weren’t, until that point her boyfriend Ash became abusive. She ran away and found shelter with me. We grew closer over time, and you know the rest.” Tails explained. “But how did she…you don’t need to tell me if…” Fiona asked. “No, it’s all right. Her ex-boyfriend…was jailed after he tracked me and Mina down and attempted to murder us. He escaped a while ago, and tracked down Mina. After he…violated her, he killed her. I wasn’t there to save her.” Tails said as he buried his face in his hands and cried heavily.

“I tracked down the bastard…” Tails continued. “And I wanted to do it, I wanted to slit his throat with the knife he killed her with. But I couldn’t. It wouldn’t bring her back. He got arrested again later, and hung himself in his cell later.” Fiona felt she needed to comfort him and wrapped her arm around him. “That you spared him showed you respect her memory. I don’t know the details, but I know you had done everything you could.” She assured him. “How would you know?” Tails asked. “Because the Tails I know always does all he can.” She answered. Tails sadness faded slightly as he replied: “And that’s the kind Fiona I remember, the one I still knew was there.” Fiona blushed slightly at the statement.

“I…should get going, it’s getting late and I need to be well-rested when I go working tomorrow.” Fiona said nervously. “Oh…er, okay. If you want, you can come visit anytime you like.” Tails stated. Fiona wanted to say it’s better if she doesn’t come at all, but Tails had suffered such pain in his life, and it wasn’t good for him to be alone. “Sure. I’d be glad to.” She eventually said.

Fiona didn’t expect it to happen, but ever since she met up with Tails again, she had regained the will to live. She became more open and social at work and started befriending her colleagues, she started to train again to regain the sexy figure she had and the signs of tiredness started to fade from her face. Often she visited Tails and his family, and the kids oddly enough started to take a liking to her. One time, a month or two after Tails had saved her, she was invited for dinner (Tails surprisingly knew how to cook really good).

“You want some more pasta, Fiona?” Tails asked. “No thanks, I already had two plates, I’m stuffed. I already ate more then I wanted to eat, and I wanted to watch my figure…” Fiona answered. “You’ll work it off.” Tails assured her. Then, his cell phone rang. He picked it up and spoke into it: “Hello? What? But I…I understand…all right.” Tails hung down as he muttered: “Damn it! An emergency at work, and they need me. I can’t get a babysitter at this hour and my friends are all busy, so…Fi, will you watch the kids when I’m gone tonight?” he asked her. “Really? You want me…” she asked. “I know I can trust you Fiona. Besides, you don’t think my kids haven’t learned a few moves from me?” Tails stated. “I…I’ll watch them.” Fiona said. “Thanks Fi, you’re a lifesaver!” Tails said as he kissed her cheek and prepare to leave; “You kids behave yourself and don’t give Ms. Fox a hard time okay? I’ll be back as soon as I can!” he said as he left for work. Fiona was staring out in front of her as she touched the cheek where Tails had kissed her. She felt so warm and tingly all of a sudden. “Ms. Fox? You okay?” Skye asked. “What? Er…yeah, I’m fine.”

When Tails returned home, he looked tired. “Damn, did they make a mess at work, I wonder what they’ll do without me.” When Tails entered the living room, he saw Fiona in the couch with the kids, Melody and Skye, all three soundly asleep in front of the tv. Tails smiled at the cute sight. Though it was a shame he had to break it up. “Fi…Skye…Melody, time to wake up!” he said as he gently shook them awake. “Uh…what?” Fiona asked groggy. “(yawn) Sorry dad, the movie was longer than we expected…” Melody said as she rubbed her eyes. “So you had a great time with Ms. Fox?” Tails asked. “Oh yes, she played Mobotropoly with us, then she took us out for an ice-cream and then she watched movies with us!” Skye said excited. “I’m glad you had a fun time. Now off to bed, you two!” Tails said, as the two kids said good night to their dad and went off to bed.

“Thanks for watching them Fi.” Tails said. “It’s nothing. They really like me for some reason. To be fair, I even told them whom I used to be, and they didn’t become scared of me. I guess they take more after you then I thought. I felt great spending time with them, almost…” Fiona spoke. “Motherly?” Tails asked. “I don’t know…let’s call it that for lack of a better term.” Fiona said as she looked at her watch. “I think it’s time for me to get home.” She said as she stood up. “Wait, Fi…” Tails said. “Yes?” “Next week, Sonic is giving his annual royal ball…you’d like to come?” Tails asked.

“You try to ask me out on a date of sorts?” Fiona asked. “Let’s call it that for lack of a better term.” Tails added. “I don’t know, I don’t think your friends wouldn’t like to see me again.” Fiona said. “I promised I wouldn’t tell them about you, but you can’t hide from them forever. Besides, you need to show them the new you. I’m sure they’ll like it!” Tails assured her. “I…” Fiona said doubtfully. “Fi, you forgot to give them your trust last time, can’t you give it to them now?” Tails stated. Fiona thought for a moment and asked: “Will you help me find a good dress first?”

King Sonic’s annual ball. With the busy lives they lead, it’s one of the few times the original Freedom Fighters could have a reunion of sorts. But now they could catch up and talk about life as it was the whole time. Everyone was there: King Sonic with his wife Queen Sally, their son Prince Manik and their daughter Sonia. On the party was Rotor Walrus with his wife Penelope Platypus, and their son BJ (Boomer Junior), Amy Rose and her husband Dexter the porcupine and their triplets Rosy, Lily and Daisy, Antoine and Bunnie (deroboticized a long time ago) and their kids Jacques (who also happened to be Melody’s boyfriend) and Belle.

But they weren’t going to be the center of attention during this ball. “Presenting, Mr. Miles Prower, Ms. Melody Prower, Mr. Skye Prower and Ms. Fiona Fox!” suddenly, all eyes were aimed at them, mostly because they were surprised that Fiona was there, and that she was with Tails and his family. But also because she looked absolutely radiant in her new cyan dress. “Tails…they’re staring.” Fiona whispered. “We kind of should have expected that. Now, just be calm and let me do the talking.” Tails said as he grabbed her arm and walked to towards Sonic and Sally with them. “Tails, when you said you had a surprise for us, you weren’t kidding. I didn’t expect…” Sally said. “What is she doing here?” Sonic asked, sounding suspicious. “I know what you think, but listen! Fiona has changed, she was abandoned by Scourge and had to spend time in the No Zone because of him.” Tails explained.

“Sounds like Scourge all right…” Sonic noted. “Listen…I know you don’t trust me. How could you after I…but I got time to think while I was in the No Zone, and it was wrong of me. When I did my time, and returned, I even considered throwing myself under a truck. But Tails saved me. He even showed me kindness I know I don’t deserve. But he was willing to forgive me after all this time…I got another chance and I don’t want to ruin it this time. You got to believe me when I say I’m different now…” Fiona said. Her voice sounded sad and begging, which the Fiona under Scourge never should have done. “Is this true Tails?” Sally asked. “It is. She has come to visit me and helped me the past few months, she even watched after the kids when I was called back at work for an emergency.” Tails answered.

“You left her with the kids?” Sonic asked surprised. “But she gets along with the kids just fine! Melody and Skye had a great time. Besides, if she had tried something, you know I have trained Melody and Skye personally.” Tails replied. It was then that the music started to play. “We can’t ask you to decide things now, but we’ll give you time to think. Fi, shall we dance?” Tails asked. “Me? I…I can’t dance!” Fiona said. “I bet you can, it’s easy, I’ll show you!” Tails said as he guided her to the dancefloor. “You see, you just go one, two, three, four, one, two, three four…” Tails said as he showed the moves to Fiona. “One, two, three, four…hey this isn’t so bad!” Fiona said as she started to get into the rhythm.

The two started to dance the night away, getting lost in the music, in the rhythm…and also each other’s eyes. Then the music stopped. “Er…is it over already?” Fiona asked. “There’s another musical number coming up.” Tails stated. “I’m going to get some punch first…” Fiona said as she left to get a drink. When she was close near the punch bowl, she ran into Sonic again, who gave her a look of which she couldn’t make out what he was thinking. “You seemed awfully close to my lil’ bro back there.” he stated. “Well…er…we just amused ourselves, nothing wrong with that.” Fiona answered.

“I know there is a lot more going on between you and him.” Sonic said firmly. “Maybe…but what do you think? I was stuck between four walls for years, and I didn’t found a reason to live during all that time. I wished that I was dead! But then he came back in my life, and he gave me a reason to live for. But it’s just that he’s still sad for Mina’s death. So I’m content to be just friends with him now. He’s just been so kind to me, even when he had all the reason to drop me, he didn’t. You must know he’s a wonderful man, and I don’t want to hurt him anymore. I always regretting hurting him in the first place. Don’t care if you believe me or not, but I’m telling the truth here!” Fiona ranted.

Sonic sighed and dropped his firm looking façade, before a small smile appeared on his face. “Well…I haven’t seen him this happy in a while. It seems that your presence is doing him good. Because of that, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. But I warn you, if you hurt him again…I might be old, but I haven’t lost my speed.” Sonic warned her. “Are you giving me your approval or something?” Fiona asked. “Let’s call it that for lack of a better term.” Sonic said as he turned around and returned to Sally’s side. Fiona decided she wasn’t thirsty anymore and went back to Tails.

“I saw you talk to Sonic. I’m glad he didn’t spin-dash into you.” Tails said humorously. “He decided to give me a chance. I honestly didn’t expect that.” Fiona answered. “He’s the good guy, you should know that. He might not tell you, but he always regretted he left you behind, he always blamed himself for you becoming Scourge’s…” Tails explained. “He does? No one was to blame for that but my own stupidity.” Fiona said. “Let’s not talk about Scourge anymore, we’re here to have fun.” Tails said. “You’re right. So…you still want another dance from me?” Fiona asked.

Later that night, the ball was over. Melody and Skye are staying over at Sonic and Sally for a sleep-over with their friends. Meanwhile, Tails had brought Fiona back to her apartment. “You didn’t have to bring me, I could have gotten back myself.” Fiona said. “You shouldn’t be walking home alone at a night like this.” Tails replied. “You know Tails…it was a wonderful night, it was the most fun I had in a long time, and your friends are starting to warm up to me again…for the first time in my life, I feel like things are going good…and I have you to thank. If you hadn’t been there to save me, I might end up being miserable for the rest of my life.” Fiona said.

“No one deserves to be unhappy, Fiona.” Tails said with a warm smile on his face. They looked each other in the eyes and seemed to drown in one another’s. The space between their lips closed…and then the lips touched and the two foxes shared a long, hot passionate kiss. But Fiona broke it before she got carried away too much. “What…you didn’t like it?” Tails asked. “I did Tails, but…I shouldn’t be doing this. You are still sad at Mina’s death and…I don’t want to take advantage of you. You’re confused and…” Fiona answered.

“No, Fiona! I’m not confused. Mina’s death was harsh to me, yes. But I was going downhill as much as you were, until that night I saved your life. I kept the pain hidden from my friends. But I shouldn’t let the pain control my life. It hasn’t left, but you have taken my pain away, you were there for me, to listen, to heal.” Tails explained as he cupped her chin with his hand. “I knew I had to move on, but I was unable to. Until I met you again.” He added.

“So do you…love me?” Fiona asked. “I never stopped loving you. Though I had fallen for Mina, and I loved her dearly, I never stopped thinking about you. Because I knew the Fiona, the kind sweet Fiona I used to know was still in there. And I’m glad that I could finally see that Fiona again.” He said. Fiona smiled as she cried tears of joy. “Nice guys like you shouldn’t be alone!” she said as they moved closer and kissed again.

Fiona could never forget that night again. She had found the one she had truly loved all along, but she was too stupid to see it until recently. And now he was hers. After having kissing in the hallway for a time, they had made their way to her bedroom, and then was where the magical part began. It was no secret neither of them were virgins…but this was the first time Fiona actually felt like it was ‘making love’. When Tails touched her, her body electrified with pulses of joy, the warmth of his body was pleasant…when she was Scourge’s plaything, he was selfish and just took but never gave, and it always had hurt when they got physical…Tails wasn’t like that.

He took it nice and slow, as he wanted her to enjoy it. And she did. His hands were magical when they touched her, the taste of his lips were addicting, the shape of his body under all that fur was that of a god. When for that moment, their bodies became like one, Fiona had never felt such ecstasy, such a wonderful feeling, such emotions…for that one moment, when they reached the climax, she could swear she was staring into the depths of the cosmos, and all its secrets were revealed to her. After that, they fell asleep in each other’s arms and fell into a deep, soothing sleep.

Several more months later…life had gone even better for the two. Fiona stood in front of her mirror, adjusting her long white dress. Today was going to be a big day for her. She’s going to marry Tails today. People may think it’s too hasty since they met up again only a year ago, but they didn’t care. They wanted to live life to their fullest, and so they didn’t stop to wait. “Hey, Fi!” a voice said as someone entered her room. It was Melody, her future stepdaughter. “Looking good, dad will be blown away.” Melody complimented. “Thanks…listen, I don’t want to replace your mother, I know I can’t, but…” Fiona said, but Melody cut her off: “I know. But I can’t help to see you as a surrogate mother, you’ve helped me, Skye and dad through. I’m glad to have you part of the family now.”

“I just don’t want you to have the feeling your mom doesn’t matter anymore. Your dad loved her more than me, and loves you and Skye more than the both of us.” Fiona said. “But mom would have wanted dad to move on, and be happy. You’ve made dad happy again, and I’m glad you did. Now, I want to give you something.” Melody said as she pulled out a tiara of sorts. “Mom wore this on her wedding with that, I want you to take it!” “No, I can’t do that. Wouldn’t it be…” Fiona said baffled. “No, I feel it’s right for you to wear this. Please?” Melody asked. Fiona sighed and put on the tiara. “You’re the greatest stepdaughter I could ask for.” Fiona said. “Thanks…mother.” Melody said before she left.

Fifteen minutes later, Fiona walked down the hallway, Skye carrying the rings on a pillow, while Amy’s daughters tossed around flower petals. Tails looked in awe as the beautiful goddess he called Fiona came down the aisle. She took Tails’ hands, the two staring in each other’s eyes, while King Sonic himself looked down upon them, ready to perform the ceremony. Everyone of the Freedom Fighters and the Chaotix were there, having realized how much Fiona had changed for the better, and it showed respect, not only to her but to Tails to be part of it.

“We have gathered today to celebrate the wedding of my little bro, and old flame of his. In the past, many of us probably would have never thought of seeing this, but we saw it with our very own eyes now in the past few months how much in love they were, and how they’ve come all this way, so it’s only natural they had to tie the knot eventually, even if earlier than expected. Now if anyone here is against this marriage, speak now or shut his big mouth forever.” Sonic said. No one protested, which was a relief for the lovers. “Now exchange the sappy vows you lovebirds have made for one another.” Sonic said.

“Miles ‘Tails’ Amadeus Prower, you are my savior in every meaning of the word. You saved my life, you saved me from myself, you have showed me how to live again, you showed me back to the path of light when I was lost in the darkness, and for that, I love you and I want to be with your forever.” Fiona said.

“Fiona Lavender Fox, you are my heart and my love. When I thought I would never be able to love again, you were there to pick up the pieces and mend my heart, and once again touched upon me with the feeling of life, that’s why I’m here to be with you forever.” Tails said.

“Now put on the rings!” Sonic said, as Skye handed the rings to both of them. “With this ring, I thee wed.” Tails said as he put a ring around Fiona’s finger. “With this ring, I thee wed.” Fiona said as he put a ring on Tails’ finger. “I now pronounce you husband and wife. Go one and give each other some sugar!” Sonic said as the two newlyweds kissed passionately and everyone cheered for them. After that the two ran out the church, where in front of them the Tornado waited, which they’d use to go on their honeymoon. Before they stepped inside however, Fiona tossed her bouquet away, the young unmarried girls fighting over it.

But it was eventually Melody who caught the bouquet, before she grabbed the hand of her boyfriend Jacques D’Coolette, who blushed madly. One of the flowers fell out of the bouquet, which Skye picked up and gave to Sonic and Sally’s daughter, Sonia. “Guess he shares your taste for older girls.” Fiona whispered to Tails. “He’s my son after all. But now, let’s fly into freedom!” Tails said as he started the engine of the tornado, he and Fiona ready to fly off, as they waved at their friends and family as they took to the sky.

Fiona and Tails, inside the Tornado were above the clouds, and looked at the landscape down below, covered by clouds like a huge cotton candy carpet. Tails and Fiona looked into the sky, and they swore they could have seen an image of Mina, who kindly smiled and nodded before fading. “Did you see that?” Tails asked. “Yeah…I think she gave us her approval!” the Tornado continued to fly off to the designated vacation spot where the two would spend a glorious honeymoon…

One year later…at the hospital. Melody came to visit Fiona. “Hi mom!” she said as she carried a basket of fruit. “Hey sweetie!” Fiona said kindly. In her arms she cradled a baby, her and Tails’ baby. A baby girl, with red fur and brown hair like Fiona, and blue eyes like both her parents. The little baby girl yawned cutely as she opened her eyes and looked at her big sister for the first time. “Hey little one, I’m your big sister!” she said as she cooed the little girl, who giggled in delight.

“What are you going to call her dad?” Skye asked his dad. Tails smiled and said: “Artemis. Artemis Mina Prower.” Tails said. “I think we couldn’t have thought of a better name.” Fiona said. “You want to hold your sister Melody?” Tails asked. “Sure I do!” Fiona then handed little Artemis over to Melody. She pushed the cute little nose of Artemis while making a ‘honk, honk’ sound, making the baby giggle. Fiona smiled at the scene. “I can safely say I’m the luckiest woman in the world, because I have you all.” Fiona said, crying tears of joy again. “And we’re glad to have you my love!” Tails said as he cupped her cheek and kissed her.

It was a wonderful life for both Tails and Fiona, they found each other again two years ago, and after that destined meeting, things couldn’t have been any better.
